The new AS14/8RW replaces the well-known AS12/6RW and behaves the same or better in the model as the old 12/6

What does the new AS14/8RW do better?
1. Better output stage performance 12/6 = 6A  14/8 = 8A 
2. Higher maximum operating voltage 12/6 = Max 16 Volts  14/8 = Max 18 Volts (thus suitable for 4S Lipo)
3. Extremely high control resolution through the use of a state-of-the-art processor.
    This makes the control approximately 4 times more sensitive
The new 14/8 is identical in appearance, shape, size, and weight to the old 12/6
Only the characteristics described above have changed — everything else is like the well-known 12/6

Smallest forward/reverse controller with EASY technology. Therefore, the controller does not need to be set to the respective RC system.

Suitable e.g. for Dunker, Bühler, or small speed motors, in smaller models
This controller is designed exclusively for brushed motors and does not work with brushless motors.

• Extra high switching frequency for silent operation: 18 kHz over the entire control range (No motor squeal/whistle)
• Fast, motor-friendly polarity reversal: When switching from forward to reverse, the controller automatically and quickly brakes the motor before immediately accelerating in the opposite direction. This controller does NOT have a proportional brake as is common in RC car controllers. The full stick range is thus available for proportional forward and reverse control. Near the center position, polarity change delays are barely noticeable.
• Perfect failsafe (receiver signal is continuously monitored); LED indicates when receiver signal is lost
• LED monitor for indicating neutral point and full throttle forward/reverse
• Motor beep acknowledgment (used to report errors and signal OK after connecting the battery)
• Startup protection (the controller will only activate when the throttle stick is at 0. This prevents accidental motor starts)
• Controller powers itself from the drive battery, but has no BEC!
